Dr. Jordan Utley is the Corporate Education Director at Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, Arizona. She has nearly three decades of experience in higher education in the roles of Faculty, Program Director, Department Chair, and Dean of Health Sciences across public and private institutions. In addition, she has 30 years of clinical experience as a certified athletic trainer--working with athletes from high school to professional sports, including the men’s and women’s US soccer teams.
She has given nearly 100 scholarly presentations, including multiple International presentations on Interprofessional education in pre- and post-license healthcare professionals. Dr. Utley is a published author with over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts, two textbooks, numerous book chapters and research abstracts. She actively engages in grant authorship and since arriving at PMI in 2022, has secured over 4 million in external funding for work in upskilling home health practitioners in California.
As the Director of Education at PMI, she believes in preparing graduates to be change-agents of healthcare, with skills that enable them to be population-focused and culturally responsive, providing the type of care that impacts the communities that surround our campuses.
