    Andrew Rakaczki

    Andrew Rakaczki currently serves as CECU’s Senior Vice President, Government Relations. In this role, Andrew will primarily focus on the association’s engagement with Democratic lawmakers and associated stakeholders. Andrew’s regulatory and compliance background also provides CECU members with expertise in navigating today’s complex regulatory environment.

    Andrew brings over a decade of government relations and regulatory experience coming from the higher education business sector. Prior to joining CECU, Andrew served as Vice President, Government Relations and the U.S. Department of Education (ED) Compliance Officer for BankMobile. His responsibilities included managing the company’s federal, state and local engagement with lawmakers, trade associations, regulators and various stakeholders. Andrew also served as the company’s chief ED Compliance Officer guiding product development initiatives, as well as developing and maintaining the organization’s overall ED compliance monitoring program.

    Prior to joining BankMobile, Andrew served as Vice President, Government Relations for Higher One. In addition to his role as the company’s lead government relations strategist, Andrew served in a variety of business positions helping to grow the organization from an early-stage startup to a publicly traded company.

    Andrew has a BA in Political Science from Loyola University in Maryland. He currently resides in New Haven, Connecticut, with his wife Emily.
