Lumion (Formerly Mia Share), United States
Akir Rowe is a dynamic education strategist with a multidisciplinary background spanning marketing, public service, and student finance. As a Director of Partnerships at Lumion, Akir works with trade and technical schools across the country to modernize enrollment, increase student access, and bridge the gap between intention and action. A Presidential Leadership Fellow, award-winning public speaker, and research leader, Akir brings both deep empathy and data-driven insight to the work of institutional transformation.
From hosting public policy podcasts to designing financial tools for modern learners, Akir’s work centers on removing friction from the student journey. At the 2025 North American CECU Conference, he will co-present “Meeting Your Future Students’ Digital Expectations”—a session examining what today’s students need from your digital experience, what causes them to disengage, and how schools can rebuild trust and capture intent at scale. Akir’s personal and professional experiences converge into one mission: ensuring every student—regardless of background—has a clear, credible path to career education.
