    Session Description

    Nonprofit institutions have started to explore the acquisition of for-profit institutions as a way to broaden the educational offerings into providing career training. This panel will share their perspectives on key considerations before, during and post-acquisition. The perspectives include the General Counsel of a nonprofit that has completed an acquisition, a regulatory attorney and a corporate attorney who worked with them through the process and an auditor who assisted with financial projections. Audience members should expect to develop an understanding for areas of focus prior to being considered for acquisition by a nonprofit and strategies for completing the transaction successfully.
