The vast majority of leaders in higher education are incredibly selfless people. While this is both admirable and important, too often that benevolence and focus on others can lead to a disproportionately low amount of care for ourselves, which ultimately hinders our capabilities as leaders. In this session we will discuss why it is crucial to prioritize our own overall well-being in order to not only maximize our ability to serve others, but also to effectively and efficiently communicate, make crucial decisions, and help lead our teams and institutions on a trajectory of growth and innovation.
