Christopher D. Lambert has over 28 years of leadership experience in higher education, with a proven track record of advancing quality and accountability across the postsecondary career education sector. He has served in executive roles at two institutional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education: as Associate Executive Director of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and as Executive Director of the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET).
Christopher has served on hundreds of accreditation visits, trained thousands of postsecondary education leaders on best practices, and supported over ten thousand accrediting agency actions. A recognized voice in higher education policy, he has contributed to critical legislative and regulatory discussions at both the state and federal levels, including drafting testimony in regard to the Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act (2008) and representing the accreditation community before Congress and the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (2012-2021).
In 2022, Lambert co-founded BCC Advisory, a bespoke consultancy that equips institutional leaders with the strategies and insights needed to drive performance and sustain success. A nationally recognized speaker on accreditation matters, Christopher currently serves on the board of CampusWise Advisors, a subsidiary of Career Education Colleges and Universities that offers specialized consulting support to higher education institutions nationwide.
Christopher holds a B.A. in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an M.Ed. from the University of Virginia School of Education and Human Development.
